Remedial Massage is a type of treatment that is tailored to the individual needs using a range of different techniques. Remedial massage is a targeted treatment which is suitable to anyone who is suffering e.g neck and shoulder issues, stress or chronic back pain. Each treatment always starts with an assesment and the treatment plan is made from there.
Dry needling (DN) is a technique, where a fine needle is inserted through skin into the muscle, targeting the trigger point (TrP) of the muscle. TrP is a taut band in the muscle, hyper sensitive to touch which can re create the pain that the patient is experiencing. These can be painful to touch and feel like a little "knot" in the muscle.
Dry needling is a great technique for patients who are experiencing shooting, referred pain or headaches. DN is also great way to increase range of motion (ROM) and recovering from injuries.
Functional release cupping (FRC) is an evidence based technique that target the fascia by using myofascial cupping and adding functional movement patterns. It can make dramatic change in range of motion (ROM), functional capacity and pain. This technique is pain free.
FRC is a great technique for patients who has decreased ROM, fascial restrictions and pain in movement.

The treatment is always tailored to athletes needs depending if it's pre event, post event, maintenance or injury preventation.
